I have the Cover girl mascara and it works well. It has a nicer brush than Maybelline's and also lengthens the lashes nicely. However, it smudges a bit throughout the day (depending on how much you apply). Maybelline is a classic favorite and is cheaper, but I personally think it can flake a bit. If you want volume and length and are fine with checking up, I'd go with Covergirl. If you're more into length and easygoing application, I'd say Maybelline.

When in starts drying out, and clogs...you don't have to count how many months it has been...throw it. When mine dries out, I add two drops of water. This way, I can use a tube for months and I use mascara 5 days a week. NEVER share mascara with anyone.

Well , It adds volume and color to your eyelashes. If you want a more natural look I would recommend brown mascara because some people think black is too dramatic . ( I prefer brown ) There is also some mascaras that are supposed to help your eyelashes grow , I've never personally used them before but some people I know said they work. And mascara is sometimes just used to darken around your eyes, like with dark colored eye shadows .
