The Port of Rio de Janeiro [Porto do Rio de Janeiro] includes 22,113 feet [6,740 meters] of continuous wharf and has a 2,897 foot [883 meter] pier. It's located on a cove on the western shore of Guanabara Bay [BaÃa de Guanabara]. It stretches from the Wharf of the Cashew [Cais do Caju] in the north to the Mauá Pier [Cais Mauá] in the east. It's Brazil's third busiest port for cargo volume.
