An inferior wall mycardial infarction is a heart attack
involving the inferior portion of the left ventricle, and in many
cases the right ventricle. This is caused by occlusion of the right
coronary artery. This can also indicate ischemia (poor oxygenation)
of the AV node and bundle of HIS, as these structures are also
supplied by the right coronary. An inferior wall MI can be seen in
the inferior leads II, III, and AVF.
