Afgooye is a Somali town, located in Shabeellaha Hoose region. Afgooye is 30 kilometres from Mogadishu.[1] Known for its farms and recreation activities by retreating weekend Mogadishu residents, the town has a rich history. The Shabelle River passes through the middle of the town.
