Description
Leaves alternate or opposite, or sometimes in rosettes. Flowerheads showy, usually blue, and radiating.

How to Grow
The species below need cool weather and well-drained, average to dry soil; best suited to West Coast and cool northern gardens. Start seeds indoors in spring. Set out in full sun after danger of frost is past.
