Freddie is a television sitcom created by, and starring, Freddie Prinze Jr. that aired from October 5, 2005 to April 12, 2006. Freddie is inspired by Freddie Prinze Jr.'s real life, growing up in a house filled with women. His life-long friend, Conrad Jackson, co-created this series with Prinze, along with executive producers Bruce Helford and Bruce Rasmussen. The friendship between Freddie and Chris in the show is loosely based on Conrad and Freddie's lives. It was reported by Variety on May 12, 2006, that ABC has decided not to renew the series, which was confirmed on May 15, 2006. The show still airs in reruns on SiTV in the United States, and it has just premiered on Trouble in the UK. It is also well known for its crossover with the ABC comedy, George Lopez
