Garrity Industries can keep you safe in the forest and calm during the storm. The company makes disposable, refillable, and rechargeable flashlights and lanterns. It produced the world's first disposable flashlight, called the Life Lite, in 1969. Its products are sold at CVS, Home Depot, Lowe's, Sears, and Walgreen's stores. The company was founded by chairman Paul Garrity, Sr., in 1967. In April 2006, Garrity was acquired by Duracell, which has been folded into its parent Procter & Gamble.
