Gramercy Capital, a self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT), which invests in commercial properties and real estate loan products secured throughout the US. Gramercy Capital operates two divisions. Its Gramercy Finance arm originates and acquires mezzanine financing, bridge loans, interests in whole loans, preferred equity, private equity investments, and mortgage-backed securities. Gramercy Real Estate invests in and manages commercial properties, mostly leased to financial institutions. Its portfolio is made up of more than 25 million sq. ft of space in some 40 states. Founded in 2004, Gramercy Capital has management offices in New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Missouri.
