Greatworth is a village about 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Brackley, Northamptonshire.

Greatworth has been settled since Roman times.[citation needed]

The Church of England parish church of Saint Peter dates from the 13th century. It is now part of the Chenderit benefice.[1]

In the 19th century a branch of the Stratford on Avon and Midland Junction Railway was built past Greatworth to join the Buckinghamshire Railway at Cockley Brake Junction, 0.5 miles (800 m) south of the village. The branch line was closed in the middle of the 20th century.

Greatworth had an RAF station, whose site is now Greatworth Park trading estate.

Greatworth has a post office, a social club and a primary school.[2]

Greatworth has one public house, The Inn,[3] which belongs to the Hook Norton Brewery.
