Hale is a self-titled debut album by OPM music band Hale released in early 2005. The album reached triple platinum on May 2006.

Critical Reception
On June 2005, the album received Gold certification for selling 15,000 units. Later that year, it reached Platinum selling 30,000 units. In late 2005, again, the album received certification for Double Platinum selling 60,000. Finally, Hale reached Triple Platinum for 90,000 sold units.
Hale Special Edition
The album was repackaged in a CD/AVCD combo. It was released on February 2006. The package included 12 tracks from the original version and an additional six videos on the other disc. [2][3]

Awards
In 2005, the song "The Day You Said Goodnight" received awards as the "Song of the Year" by "97.1 WLS-FM Year End Awards", "OPM Song of the Year" by "RX 93.1 Year End Awards" and "Magic 89.9 WTM Year End Awards". Later next year, it garnered an award as the "Best Ballad" by "Awit Awards". Also, the song "Kung Wala Ka" was awarded as the "Best Pop Video" by the "MTV Pilipinas Video Music Awards".
