Herrerism is a political faction of the Partido Nacional in Uruguay.

History, and prominent members
It is named after the leader and founder of the faction, Dr. Luis Alberto de Herrera (1873-1959).
Herrera's grandson, Luis Alberto Lacalle (1941-), President of Uruguay 1990-1995, has long exercised a leading rôle in the grouping.
Herrera's great-grandson Luis Alberto Lacalle Pou [1] has also been elected a Senator under the sponsorship of the grouping.
Distinction
The founder of the grouping, Luis Alberto de Herrera is widely regarded as a distinguished figure in Uruguayan history.
