HollyFrontier (formerly Holly) refines crude oil to produce gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel, which it sells in the southwestern US, northern Mexico, Kansas, and in the Rockies. Its major assets are a 52,000 barrels-per-day refinery in Wyoming; an El Dorado, Kansas refinery, 135,000 barrels; a Utah refinery, 31,000 barrels; a Tulsa refinery, 125,000 barrels, and subsidiary Navajo Refining (New Mexico) which has a refining capacity of 100,000 barrels a day. The company has a 34% stake in Holly Energy Partners, which operates crude oil pipelines and petroleum product pipelines. To expand market share, in 2011 the company acquired regional rival Frontier Oil and Holly changed its corporate name to HollyFrontier.
