Alexandra Jamieson
Alexandra Marie Jamieson[1] (born March 27, 1975)[1] is a professional vegan chef and the wife of documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock. She had a notable amount of screentime in the documentary Super Size Me, a documentary about fast foods effects on the body and culture. She also maintains a website containing vegan recipes, and reasons to eat vegan foods. Jamieson was drawn to veganism because of her own personal battles with sugar addiction, fatigue, and migraines. She graduated from New York City’s Natural Gourmet Cookery School. She is also the author of The Great American Detox Diet (Rodale, 2005), which offers practical ways to clean your system and live a healthy life. She currently lives in New York City with her husband.
