The Keating Group operates through two subsidiaries that specialize in real estate development and investment (Keating Development Company) and environmental remediation (Keating Environmental Management). Serving both public and private sector clients, Keating is active primarily in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC. In early 2009 the company sold its Keating Building Corporation subsidiary, which specializes in commercial and institutional projects, to Perini. Founded by Dan Keating in 1911, The Keating Group is owned and run by the third generation of the Keating family.
