Mackie can refer to:


Mackie is a brand of the United States based company LOUD Technologies. The Mackie brand is used on professional music and sound reinforcement and recording equipment such as mixing consoles, loudspeakers, DAW control surfaces.

Tapco, an Edmonds, Washington-based line-mixer company was owned by Greg Mackie, who later started the company Mackie and opened a factory in Woodinville, Washington.

Mackie makes many products including audio mixers, loudspeakers, studio monitors, digital recording equipment and more. However, Mackie mixers gave the company a serious boost in sales and popularity, mainly for their affordability and very decent specs, making Mackie mixers, the choice on thousands of project studios.

The Mackie 12 channel mic/line mixer (1202) also enjoyed of huge popularity[citation needed] among home studios and small live rigs for its versatility and low price (Around $300). Some equipment sales people regarded it and still do, as a "swiss knife"[citation needed].
