Example: To acquire the designation MAI, an Appraiser must pass several written proficiency examinations, perform acceptable appraisal work for a specific period of time, and prepare a demonstration narrative appraisal report. The MAI signifies the appraiser is qualified to appraise a broad range of Real Estate types.
