Ballet in one act with choreography by Robbins. Premiered 3 July 1959 by Ballets USA at Spoleto. Robbins described it as ‘a ballet in silence about relationships … between people—man and woman, one and another, the individual and the group’. It was revived for City Center Joffrey Ballet in 1969 and for Netherlands Dance Theatre in 1973.
