The Palić lake covers an area of 380 ha, with a 17 km shore line. The average depth of the lake is 2 m, and there are lots of fish in it. In 1995 the Tisa-Palić canal was opened so that the lake would remain as healthy as it was before in spite of development around the lake.

The "Great" Park

The "Great" Park is an urban park in the centre of Palić city. It was opened in 1840 and today has a total area of 19 ha. The park has around 2,100 hours of sun each year (just like Opatija, Kraljevica or Zlatibor). The average air temperature in summer is 20 °C, and the average precipitation is 540 mm.

There are lots of hotels, restaurants and beaches in the "Great" Park. There is also a Zoological park, one of only three existing in Serbia.
