Most of the pups in the litter are 4-8 and are brwon,white,cream,red,or black. The average litter size is 6, although I have personally know litters from just 1 puppy to 9, although I understand some bitches have had 12!!!! There are actually 17 official colours varying from solid, roan, parti to tri!! This is believed to be one of the reasons why the cocker spaniel is so very popular.
