1988 740 Turbo Volvo AC not working. Old ac retrofitted with RA134a. It needed a recharge and It worked for about a day I put to much in and I released some but now it doesn't cool the air. Any Info?

chances are if your system took the refrigerant and it did cool off for about a day that means you compressor, condensor, etc is working properly. however you may have a leak in you compressor hoses. usually the two running from the condensor in the front of the radiator running to the compressor depending on year model, and make. early model 240's run the hoses differently than 740's.
