if you get the truck on a jack and tighten it that will help. but . . . you also need to tighten the hub again once the truck is on the ground again. this makes sure that the wheel is securely fastened to the axle.
Cable underneath has a nut(s) to adjust.
Assuming this is the same as a UK astra, remove the centre console and gaiter from around the handbrake lever until you see the adjuster nut.Jack up the rear so the wheels are free.Let the adjustment right off the handbrake.Press the footbrake five or six times to ensure the drums are fully adjusted, then pull the handbrake on/off five times.Same if you have rear discs.Ensure the rear wheels rotate freely. Then pull the handbrake on three clicks, adjust the cable until the rear wheels are hard to turn(not locked up).Handbrake off and ensure wheels still free.Rear wheels should be fully braked with four or five clicks.
You don't. You get your mechanic to do it. That way you can be sure that you don't do something wrong.
Tighten it
Take a screwdriver and depress the small square in the slide beside the lever it will let the lock come loose so it can be removed.

If the gear shift lever does not move out of drive, or if the lever moves but the transmission stays in drive, it is possibly the linkage and a relatively easy fix. Turn everything off, then look under the hood along the steering column or under the vehicle for something that is hanging loose or moves when the shift lever moves.
The cast of On the Loose - 2004 includes: Bindu De Stoppani as Young woman Grace Ogwuma as Kid
With a screwdriver lift the black covering of the center console and remove over the handbrake. Snap back into place.

take off the inside panel and tighten the mirror. I did it and it is easy once you get the panel off which is not so easy.
