95 riviera it want start up this just started it work fine while i was driving it but when i got home and cut it off then tried to turn it back on nothing happen its not cranking just the radio cum on?

The starter drive is shot. Replace the starter and hope the ring gear isn't damaged.

is the fuel pump in the gas tank? I am a single female with little knowledge of engines. I can put oil in, change the tire and headlights but that's it. I changed my question to share there was no cranking when the key was turned. Just full power, windows went down and up normal.

It might be your module, because I too have a 95 Buick Riviera Supercharger, and I just recently replaced my battery, alternator, starter and other misc items. I was driving my car one day and it died, and would not start. I ended up getting the car towed, and my mechanic ran a few test, then he hooked up a used module, and the car started fine. My car was cranking and turning over, it just wasn't starting. You might want to also have your fuel pumped checked, as well as your crank shaft and sensor. Hopefully this helps.

Yes...all valves bent...smacked piston...good old interference engines. Started cranking really fast cause valves stuck open from overheat then...BAM...backfire out intake after only 15seconds of cranking...Head back off again. answering own question. Impossible to say. You need to find out why it backfired. Suggest you do a compression test.
