one inch of rain over one square mile equals 17.4 millions pounds (about 72,000 tons)
it rains .
All clouds! Clouds are made of water and dust (and sometimes ice) and they all rain!
No it is just condensed water vapor and it holds a liquid or precipitation. So it is a gas and liquid.
20ml
gallons
too much water in the cloud
Water from lakes and oceans evaporate into water vapor, which forms clouds. Inside the cloud the water vapor gets heavier and heavier(this is condensation) and finally the cloud releases the water, which is percipitation.
There shouldn't a cloud that has too much water - water evaporates because it is warm and therefore lighter. Once its in the sky, the water cools and condenses, further condensation leads to precipitation. A cloud with a lot of water just means a lot of rain.
Clayey soil hold the most water of all, as sand and chalk. Loamy soil holds water but not as much as clayey.
The weight is too much for the cloud to bear.
the answer is 1 tablespoon = approx. 15ml
when water cools in a cloud? Condensation! :]
