Yes, carbon.
supplement. when an element exists in two or more forms, these forms are known as an allotrope. Carbon has three allotropes, graphite, diamond, and ordinary carbon.
Diamonds and pencil "lead" are made entirely of the element carbon (C, atomic # 6). Graphite is the correct term for pencil "lead," which obviously isn't really lead. Diamond and graphite are allotropes, which means different atomic arrangements of the same element.
Diamond and pencil lead (graphite) are both forms of the element carbon. Different pure forms of an element, like diamond and graphite, are called allotropes. In diamond the carbon atoms are arranged in a tetrahedral pattern, forming a very hard substance. In graphite the carbon atoms are arranged in sheets which slide easily over each other, making it suitable for use in pencils.
Carbon is the element in a diamond and in pencil lead.
Diamond is an allotrope of carbon. The lead (not led!) in pencils is made of graphite (another allotrope of carbon but, whereas diamond is usually very pure, the graphite is modified with the addition of other materials to alter its properties - make it harder, for example.
they are both carbon - diamond is hard carbon and pencil lead is graphite which is soft

There are certain parts of a pencil that are renewable:the rubber eraser, the wood of the pencil, the led,and the metal.
The answer is Kaolin.
the first thing that happened was the scientists accepted the fossils then the fossils were formed, finally the fossils were made
Energy led human to burn more fossil fuels
The earth was made by techtonic erosion. The mountains were changed by erosion.Soil erosion is a big environmental problem, particularly for smaller countries.Poor crop tilling practices in the early twentieth century led to significant soil erosion which led to the Dust Bowl of the 1930's."The rock's erosion is quite intense."Erosion is a process where earth is weathered by the elements; water, wind, and other natural forces.
They are all comprised (or made up of) carbon.
no a led pencil is made of graphite
graphite
Graphite.
yes! eating the nip of pencil is harmful if its made up of graphite
yea. actually graphite, allitopes element of carbon. its not really all LEAD
a lot of people mistake it for led but it is in fact graphite
It does not have led it has graphite.
Graphite is pure carbon. A diamond is also pure carbon in a very specific crystal. Yet diamonds do not conduct electricity and graphite does. Graphite can form in plate like arrays of hexagonal crystals and in an amorphous, powdery form.
the most obvious reason being that diamonds cost a lot more than pencil lead. another reaon they are different is that diamonds are the hardest known substance to man. pencil lead is not hard at all.
Lead/graphite, depends. Both are black, it doesn't really make a difference :)
THE COUNTRY THAT PRODUCES THE MOST PENCIL WOOD IS CHINA. SIMPLY BECAUSE IN CHINA THEY HAVE A LOT OF TREES THAT MAKE WOOD AND PENCILS ARE MADE OUT OF WOOD.INFACT PENCIL LED IS MADE OUT OF A SPECIAL PART OF THE TREE THAT MAKES A DARK GRAY LINE, WHICH WE CALL WRITING. WHICH WE USE ALMOST EVERY DAY. WHICH LEADS US TO THE ERASER. THE ERASER IS MADE OUT OF RUBBER, NOT LIKE TIRE RUBBER A DIFFRENT KIND OF RUBBER THAT ERASES LED (we call it pencil).
