The advantage of studying as a university or college that focuses on technology is that students can get a degree in a field that is in high demand. The disadvantage of this type of college is that it has a small amount of majors to choose from.

∙ 13y agoYour advantage of studying at a University of Technology is that your degree will be a technical degree. This means that your degree will be much more focused than if you were to go to a liberal arts University. You degree at a university of Technology will gear you for a specific job much more than a liberal degree. A liberal art university will require a variety of classes that will take the first two years of schooling to get through. Many of these classes are irrelevant to your pursued degree. The advantage of a liberal degree is that you can take a variety of courses and experience different curriculum that may refocus your chosen career. If you know what job you want for certain however I would attend a technical university.
