After you get photo from your camera onto your computer how do you get photo to upload into a document that requires a photo?

It depends what you mean by "upload". If you are actually uploading a photo to an online form or document the webpage should be setup to let you browse your folders on your drives to select and preview a file for upload. If you mean to simply add a photo to a document like Word, Excel or other document program you will have to do the following; Transfer the photo from your camera or camera's media card. To do this you may need an appropriate cable (usb most typically) or card reader. If the file is not in a standard format you may need to convert the format using either software provided by the camera manufacturer or 3rd party software. Once the file is in a standard format such as JPeg you can open the file in an editing program. I use Photoshop, but if that's too expensive you can try Photoshop Elements which is much less expensive, or GIMP which is a free program and has many of the same tools. If you need to do this once or perhaps only within a 30 day period you might consider downloading the trial versions of the Adobe programs from the Adobe website as these are completely functional with no limitations, but can only be used on a system for 30 days. You may like one of them enough to consider purchasing it. These editing programs will allow you to crop your photo to remove excess areas in the image as well as correct details such as color, red-eye, reflections and the like. I suggest that you save the file as a new version (save as; myphoto_v2 for example) in case you go too far or perhaps have future use for the uncropped version. The last step in editing is to resize the image. This is so is is no larger than it needs to be in your document. This will help keep your document from becoming too large too quickly which may restrict you from emailing it or storing it on certain devices. I suggest setting the dpi at 150 as that will print out with fair quality (rather than 72 which is too small or 300 which makes for a larger than nessasary size). Now you are ready to import the image into your document. You should be able to select the image in your editing program and "copy", then select a place in your document program and "paste". If that is not an option you can possible use an import option in the document program or you may find an option to "add or import photo". Some programs may require you to create a "picture box" within the program in which you can import a photo. Once the photo is in the document you may have the option to further position or format the photo using tools within the document program. If not you may have to edit the photo in the editing program to make changes to suit the placement and import it again.
