I've been raising and breeding American pit bull terriers for about 4 yrs now. Puppies need to be given their parvo shots at approximately 6 weeks of age. One important thing that you must not forget is to get your puppy vaccinated every 3 weeks after that until they have had their full round of vaccinations. A full round usually includes 4 shots, each at 3 weeks apart, you should have your puppy examined within 72 hours of purchasing it. Parvo is not a joke, it is vicious, and you do not want that problem!
hope this helps

You should never give a puppy shots. We have a little puppy and she has never been given any shots. And she is just fine.
usually heat or maybe old abandoned furniture
any age, just lke humans
as long as a dog is alive it can get Parvo. Get its shots including parvo to keep it from possibly getting it. I have had a few dogs we were caring for (that had been strays) die of it. It is the most tragic thing to watch. Get your dog it's shorts, the parvo and rabies shots aren't that expensive. Also, heartworm test and preventative is well worth the money.
Dogs need to get their first booster shots at 8 weeks of age. After leaving their mom if they are not vaccinated they can get diseases like parvovirus which is fatal and caninevirus which is like parvo but not fatal. Talk to your vet and he will explain the shots that your puppy needs.
no
it can make your dogs babbies no matter what breed hav parvo all of the babbies can get it and so could the dad dog this is a contages diseese any dog could get it easely make sure your puppy or dog gets all of its booster shots then it shouldnot get parvo trust and believe never by your dog parvo shots way to expensive and make the infection worst
Any dog can get parvo. To prevent it, go to the vet and get the shots are dog normally needs.
Rabies,distemper, parvo,and more.
I wouldn't take any puppy out until they are 4 months old and have had all their shots, they can get parvo from the ground and it is deadly.
DHLP/Parvo vaccine. You can also get the vaccine with Corona added too. The vaccine is for Distemper, Hepatitis, Lepto, Parainfluenza & Parvo. A pup needs a series of vaccines (check with your Veterinarian) and thereafter, a booster once a year.
Yes. Dogs can get parvo at any age, and must be vaccinated asap. BUT if your dog has parvo and gets a vaccine when it is sick, it will most likely die. So be absolutly sure that your pet is tested before receiving the vaccination.
When The dog completely get rid of Parvo virus
Parvo is very contagious to unvaccinated dogs and puppies. It is not contagious to humans.
You should be able to get there records from the vet tht administered the shots. It is normally not a good idea to have the dogs injected twice.
