Jose' B. David was a Filipino artist working in the mid-20th Century. Most of his earliest works were destroyed during the occupation of the Philippines. In the early 1950's, he was assigned to the house staff of Col. Dache M. Reeves, Base Commander, who purchased one of David's watercolors, dated 1943. The subject is four rice paddy workers and their field boss during a rainstorm. The angle of the rain in the painting is counterpoint to the stance of the workers, resulting in a strong play of tension.
I also have a painting by this same artist -- beautiful picture of an old man. I would also be interested in getting any information on the artist

It is always a good idea to question the painter for their qualifications before you hire. Find out how many years they have worked in this field, what information they can give you about how to paint the house, plus get all the business references that a painter has ready. Contact local hardware stores to see if the painters are familiar to them and if they have had experience with them.

Answer:On the web several firms are advertizing prints by 'Brunozetti'. However nowhere is any information about this painter to be found. One print, different from most of the ones for sale, is examined closer, and it is a paraphrase on Leonardo's last supper. This rules out the possibility of a painter in the 13th century. Whatever, he is not a well-known painter, listed in any encyclopedic work or art history.
no way jose!!
