u may have a coil which when the starter is turning gives a higher voltage then drops when started this is called ballast ignition. when u turn the starter off the coil feed goes through a capacitor to drop the voltage if the capacitor is malfunctioning-no volts = no spark =no go
You could have a sticking solenoid on the starter, you could have a defective starter button, or your solenoid wires may be set up in a way that causes the current to ark between points when it's not supposed to.
The first electric starter with starter button appeared on a car called the Arnold in 1896.
it's a circuit breaker
Starter button ? - you must have a very strange heater, they normally heat automatically when power is on, and I have fitted hundreds and NEVER seen a 'starter button'
Start by checking battery voltage and then use a test light to check for power at the starter when the button is pressed. If you have power at the starter with the button pressed it could be a bad starter. If no power at the starter then check into wiring and/or relays.
changing starter button on 1996 honda magna 750 how to remove throdle cables from from hand grip.
usually by holding the zero button depressed for a second.
try replacing the brake light switch; it is located under the dash directly behind where the brake pedal is. it should actually have a small button that is released when the pedal is depressed. You can check the switch on the bench to insure this is the culprit, simply place an ohm meter across the two contacts; you should have no continuity when the button is depressed, as soon as the button is released you should have zero resistance. Other possibilities could be a blown fuse on the brake light circuit, or a blown bulb.
A "Hammer On" is when you first strum and then push one of the fret buttons. Conversely, a "Hammer Off" is when you have strummed a note with a button depressed and you then release the depressed button. There is a tutorial in the game that can help teach you how to do this.
They should come on automatically when the ignition is switched on. On my '87 xv535, the starter switch disengages the headlight in order to give full power to the starter. The starter button would stick very slightly when I released it, preventing the headlight form coming back on. (Very frustrating trying to figure this out.) Try pulling the starter button out. I never took it apart, but I assume the spring inside the switch was weak.
