Yes. She may portray characters based on real people (such as the high-fashion magazine editor from "The Devil Wears Prada"), but she has rarely appeared in film biographies. A couple of exceptions: author Isak Dinesen in "Out of Africa" and the world-renowned "French Chef" Julia Child in "Julie & Julia." Streep's latest project is "The Iron Lady," for which she has received her 17th Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
