White blood cells are larger.
White blood cells range in size from 7-21 micrometers in diameter.
Red blood cells are typically 6-8 micrometers in diameter.
However, RBCs are more prevalent, accounting for 25% of the volume of blood, whereas WBC's only account for 1%.
The size of a white blood cell is on average about 700 times smaller than a red blood cell. Source: http://library.thinkquest.org/25896/sub_blood/wbc.htm
It's because, the number of red blood cells is more that the number of white blood cells.
A cell is anywhere from 10 to 100 microns.
Approximately 8 micrometre's.
Yes.
10 um
lymphocytes
white blood cells are quit bigger than red blood cells.

Red blood cell
The white blood cell has nucleus that red blood cell does not
The biggest difference is that a red blood cell has no nucleus where as a white blood cell does. A red blood cell has no nucleus because it needs all the space inside the cell for the haemoglobin which is stored inside it and is the oxygen attrcting chemical. White blood cells can have either a bean shaped nucleus which would make it a lymphocyte or a double lobed nucleus which would make it a phagocyte. Another difference is that white blood cells are bigger than red blood cells.
the nerve cell is the white cell and it is white but it doesnt care as much blood as the red blood cell does that's the difference. Also, the nerve cell is the white cell and it is white but the red blood carries blood. Wait, I think the nerve cell is the white cell is white. White Cell=Nerve Cell*white. Cell=Nerve/White =;)
red blood cells are red and white blood cells are white
There are 500 white blood cells to every 1000 red blood cells (or you could say there is double the amount of red blood cells). The answer would be 200 red blood cells for every 100 white blood cells.
white blood cells have a nucleus and red blood cell doesnt
1000 red blood cells To 1 white blood cell
The three blood cells are red, white, and platelets
RBC or Red Blood Cell, WBC or White Blood Cell.
