Some people like to pretend otherwise, as it is more fun to pretend the reason you are not successful is that you are opposed by a huge un-fightable conspiracy. Some people have a need to believe in conspiracies because its easier than dealing with the real evils of this world and there is always someone ready to sell them something to support their need.
The most important fact that you should know if you are investigating facts is that blogs and YouTube are not sources for information, they are personal opinions sites and entertainment sites.

Okay, kids, time to pull up our big boy pants and grow up. The Illuminati does not exist. There is no Illuminati. There was an Illuminati, but they ceased to exist in 1785. The Illuminati is defunct, kaput, no more.
