Some cacti can indeed be poisonous. As in: the fluid in the cacti is. Some cacti have juice that is used to remove warts. If you accidently drink that, your intestines will burn and start rotting within hours.

No they are not.

In the state of Michigan they are because of a non native plant similar to the cat tail and grows in the same conditions but grows 3 feet taller than cat tails, preventing the cat tails from surviving, this plant has a big fluffy top and a long stalk. i work with Aquatic Plants So I also deal with Wetland plants
