well they're warm blooded so their blood could start to get cold like ours does if we stay outside for too long during the winter, and their muscles probably tense up for the cold so they can't run as fast

Climate change is affecting most species on the earth whether directly or indirectly. Fortunately for the snow leopard the melting of glaciers and the retreat of ice further up the Himalayas (caused by global warming) has opened up new hunting grounds for them further up the mountains where it was too cold for them to roam before. Hopefully this will have a positive effect on snow leopard numbers as they are currently threatened.

Continuing global warming will reduce the snow leopard's habitat. The snow leopard is adapted to snow conditions and would have difficulty in surviving in a more temperate environment.
