No. Crows and ravens are different species all together, even if they look the same from a distance. A raven is bigger than a crow, and is capable of gliding through the air like a hawk or an eagle, but not a crow. Ravens also have a larger, more hooked beak than a crow does, and also has a larger wing-span. Ravens also have a wedge shaped tail in flight, and shaggy throat feathers.

Though these animals are related (they belong in the same Genus, which is Corvus), and look the same, they are really not. The raven is Corvus corax, the crow is Corvus brachyrhynchos.

Yes. Even though they may look the same as far as colouration is concerned, they are quite different: ravens are larger, have more shaggier head, do much soaring and have a wedged-shape tail in flight. Crows, however, have a fan-shaped tail in flight, do not soar and are smaller and more smoother than ravens are. They are also not related as a species, but related as a Genus, which is under the Genus Corvus under the Corvidae family.

They are, yes. Ravens and crows belong in the same genus, which is Corvus. However, species-wise they are not related. The species name for ravens is Corvus corax, and for crows, Corvus brachyrhyncos.
