The male member, for a women it only has one purpose and that is for sexual intercourse.
Factor in that we humans are one of the very rare creatures that have said sexual intercourse not just to procreate but also for pleasure.
A small nub or a pencil like member is just not going to work.
The vagina is sensitive, has nerves for pleasure as most are aware of the clitoris and stimulating it.
However there is much more, for example - The vestibular bulbs, these cause "vaginal" orgasmic contractions, through the rhythmic contraction of the bulbocavernosus muscles which a bigger (especially thicker) member will achieve much easier.
The bottom line is - Bigger is BETTER, especially with girth!
