Yes, mice are color blind. Humans have three color cells in there eyes, but since mice only have two, they see a limited amount of colors. They don't actually see in just black and white, they can see certain colors, but not as many. Animals such as dogs can only see in black and white, while other animals such as cats can see some color, but not all.
