This is a purely subjective matter.
My personal opinion is: not at all :) Online relationships do have certain negative sides, for example there will be a physical distance between you until you move together (if you do). Additionally you might get a small... surprise when you exchange pictures. For a short fun relationship you might not need to exchange pictures, but for a longer one definitely, especially if you consider moving together. But this is also the good side: you will be able to meet the person as they are without insecurities about their looks, and it might be easier for you to talk about problems if you only type them into the PC instead of actually saying the words. I myself am in a very happy online relationship, so my opinion on this is no surprise :)
