Answer 1

No. All people who claim Jewish ancestry admit and believe that Abraham was their founding ancestor. Since he was born in Iraq (Ur) in Western Asia, and since Jews have intermarried very little in the last 3800 years, he probably looked like Jews today. Our tradition is that the twelve sons of Jacob (the 12 Tribes) were not completely similar to each other in appearance, though none of them was really dark-skinned (Rashi commentary on Genesis 12:11).

DNA testing of Jewish communities worldwide has shown that they are all interrelated and of Middle Eastern genetics, comparable to the Sephardim today (not African or Egyptian). The only exception to this is the Ethiopian Jews, who show only a trace of DNA connection to other Jewish communities. Western ethnologists today hold the view that the Jews of Gondar (Ethiopia) either emerged from a Judaizing strain among Ethiopian Christians, or were converted by Yemeni Jews who crossed the Red Sea.

They differ from other Jews in several respects. They pray in an Ethiopic language, rather than in Hebrew. They also maintain forms of monasticism, which died out elsewhere with the long-extinct Essenes. Like the Samaritans, they have no knowledge of the Talmud, or of Purim or Hanukkah.

A study by Professors Lucotte and Smets has shown that the genetic father of Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews) was close to the Ethiopian non-Jewish populations. This is consistent with the theory that Beta Israel are descendants of ancient inhabitants of Ethiopia, not the Middle East.

Hammer et al. in 2000, and the team of Shen in 2004, arrive at similar conclusions, namely that the DNA of the Ethiopian Jews probably indicates a conversion of local populations.

A 2012 study showed that while primarily related to the local populations, Ethiopian Jews have very distant genetic links to other Jews, and are likely descended from a few Jewish founders. It has been concluded that the community began when a few itinerant Jews who settled in Ethiopia in ancient times, converted locals to Judaism, and married into the local populations. It has been estimated that this happened some 2,000 years ago.

Note also that the claim that European Jews were not from the original Jews is an anti-Semitic canard made popular by a Jewish Jew-hater named Koestler. It has been debunked by DNA studies on Jewish communities from around the world. It has been found that Ashkenazim are quite closely related to Sephardim and originated in the Middle East.

A 2013 study of Ashkenazi mitochondrial DNA found no significant evidence of Khazar contribution to the Ashkenazi Jewish DNA, as would be predicted by the Khazar hypothesis; and although there is no historical or DNA evidence to support the Khazar idea, it is still popular among anti-Semites.

In 2000, the analysis of a report by Nicholas Wade "provided genetic witness that Jewish communities have, to a remarkable extent, retained their biological identity separate from their host populations, evidence of relatively little intermarriage or conversion into Judaism over the centuries. The results accord with Jewish history and tradition and refute theories which would allege that Western Jewish communities consist mostly of converts."

Answer 2

Yes they are because all roads point to such. You have The Arc of The Covenant and The Book of Enoch in Ethiopia. The Ashkenazi are converts as Shlomo Sand's book states, Not The Seed of Abraham as per DNA testing they are JUDEAO/KHAZARS. There admixture is from the Caucasus ,Turkey ,Mongolia, Eastern Europe and some African.DNA Studies done in 2013 and 2014 has shown that the Lemba Tribe in South East Africa has one of the highest Conan gene pools( Y DNA ) amongst all Jews! If one would really put evrything in context Ethiopia is the mother of Abrahamic religion. Menelik I could trace his lineage back to the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon. You Even have some Jewish people that are Ashkenazi that have an L2a1 maternal haplogroup and some Eastern Europeans with the same indigenous African DNA . Some ASHKAENAZI scholars have even stated that the Ethiopian jews are the original jews. The book of Enoch was written in Hebrew when it was founded by a Scotsman and taken to England for interperntation by a professor. The ancient Ethiopians were early contributors to Christianity. Europe pays homage to the black Maddona and child. Ethiopia was lower Egypt and Moses hid amongst the Egyptians so they had to be the same coloration. This information I am relaying is not to knock the ashkenazi. Judaism is a great religion and each group contributed something to it. The Lemba, Igbo of Nigeria also have Hebrew lineage. This will all make sense to you as I have provided links below to support whats being stated.

No; that is a fanciful notion, or wishful thinking, contradicted by DNA studies.
Just as today, Israelites came in differing skin-tones, heights, and body-types. Our tradition is that the twelve sons of Jacob (the 12 Tribes) were not completely similar to each other in appearance, though none of them was really dark-skinned (Rashi commentary on Genesis 12:11).
Abraham and Sarah came from southern Iraq and their wider family from northern Iraq. Since DNA tests have shown that Jews intermarried infrequently throughout history, Abraham and the Israelites probably looked like Jews today.
DNA testing of Jewish communities worldwide has shown that they are all interrelated and of Middle Eastern genetics, comparable to the Sephardim today (not African or Egyptian).
In 2000, the analysis of a report by Nicholas Wade "provided genetic witness that Jewish communities have, to a remarkable extent, retained their biological identity separate from their host populations, evidence of relatively little intermarriage or conversion into Judaism over the centuries. The results accord with Jewish history and tradition."
The only exception to this is the Ethiopian Black Jews, who show only a trace of DNA connection to other Jewish communities. Western ethnologists today hold the view that the Jews of Gondar (Ethiopia) either emerged from a Judaizing strain among Ethiopian Christians, or were converted by Yemeni Jews who crossed the Red Sea. A study by Professors Lucotte and Smets has shown that the genetic father of Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews) was close to the Ethiopian non-Jewish populations. It has been estimated that this happened some 2,000 years ago.

Arabic is the original Egyptian language, Roman, Greek, Latin, Syrian, Hebrew, Ethiopian and PersianArabic is not the original Egyptian language. That did not come into Egypt until the 7th century. Latin is uncertain because Caesar and Antony would have been been speaking Greek to her anyway (the language of the educated).
