Yes. These are available on Google images. You can clearly see the wounds caused by the bullets and the brain itself. I believe if you type in John F Kennedy autopsy on google images, they should come straight up!! :-P Gingerboyy :-)
Yes, most autopsy (especially those involved with a homicide) do have pictures taken of the corpse and the injuries to the body since they may very well be used in a criminal case. I have seen only one autopsy photo of RFK online which shows the pathologist folding Senator Kennedys' right ear forward to reveal the wound caused by the bullet (which had been operated on in an attempt to save his life). If I recall, this was one of the pics which the prosecution used at the Sirhan trial. The rest of the photos (I assume) are being held under lock and key by either the LA police or by the Kennedy family. Another possibility is that the rest were destroyed by the LAPD since it has been revealed (by them) that they destroyed thousands of pieces of evidence and information relating to the case (after the trial was over) including; photos and the door/wall trim which was believed to show bullet holes discovered immediately after the assassination. One of the reasons it is believed by many individuals investigating the shooting of a possible conspiracy in RFKs' murder, perhaps reaching as far up as the LAPD. The reason given by LAPD to destroy all this vital evidence? The case was over and they needed the room....
The most telling evidance about a conspiracy to kill Robert Kennedy - was the FACT that they found a total of 10 bullets (or bullet holes) and Sirhan's gun held only 8 bullets!! So someone else was shooting also!!
There are autopsy pictures, but I believe they are the property of the King family as are the personal items Dr. King had on him at the time of his death.
Although autopsy photos were undoubtedly taken of JFK at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, they were not released to the public.
