yes but there is a bypass tube across from head to head also
Most likely yes
yep, there sure is. There is at least one in the back of the engine block, which is inside the bellhousing. But also look closely at the back of the heads before you pull the tranny. There is a freeze plug on the back of each head, and the headgasket can also leak. Coolant can run down the outside of the bellhousing, and end up at the bottom, and will look just like it's coming from inside the bellhousing. I've been fooled by that before. Fortunetly I caught it before I pulled the tranny out.
try increasing the idle. could also be tranny probs...not allowing tranny to go into neutral when coming to a stop.......common with jeep tranny's
There are freeze plugs locaked in the rear of theengine block, they get old, rust and leak, you have to pull the tranny to get to themAnswerRadiator may be broken too
there should be a thin guard usually stainless steel that fits over the guides for lining up the tranny. between engine and transmission.
put tranny fluid in it!
no you can not, the 95 tranny is computer controlled
I believe that goes to the module. It's a little canister looking thing. Has a male vacuum nozzle coming out of it. But if that's off "your car won't be shifting right at all." I believe 1995 has electronic tranny. If there's no tranny modulator than I believe the hose goes to the elctronic part of the tranny.. This area of the tranny will have a large wire harness(s) coming out of it. Sometimes the area for the hose connection is recessed and hard to find. CIV
they are between the engine and body, and the tranny and frame underneath, LOOK, passenger side top, tranny top, underneath on cross frame on front and rear of tranny., 17mm, 14mm. easy.
make sure the leak is not coming from above the starter, like from the valve cover gasket, if it isn`t then it probably is the rear crankshaft seal which would require the removal of the tranny to replace.
Your anti-freeze is a Dex-cool anti-freeze. It is not compatiable with the green kind. It is a long life coolant which can last up to 100,000 miles. If you have to top off, do not add water as this coolant comes pre-mixed. Is there red fluid on top of normal coolant? If so you have a leak between you radiator and auto tranny cooler.
powerglide is a tranny
