Not really. Bees don't have tails, they don't make chirping noises, and their "tongues" aren't as long as a typical hummingbird's bill. Most hummingbirds are iridescent green on the back, and the only bright green bees are too small to be confused with hummingbirds.
The male bee hummingbird and female share different characteristics. The male has a red throat, green pileum, with elongated feathers. The rest of its body is mostly grey and is smaller than that of a female. A female is usually white in its lower body and green in the upper. The out tips of the female tail feathers are usually spotted white.
Google hummingbird bee moth and you can see several videos of them. I have yet to see them still but the fly very fast like hummingbirds.....very cool
