Evidentally not. there is a paucity of female characters ( some exceptions as Mary, Elizabeth ( Mother of John the Baptist) , Ruth, Naomi, in the Holy Bible. there was one female prophet- or prophetess, Hanna, she is not discussed in detail Male Chauvinism is a distinctly Paulist idea, he aimed at keeping women ( Silent in the Church) in more ways than one. It has been argued that Felicity and Perpetua- who MAY appear in the apocrypha ( hidden writings) or Pseudepigrapha- lit false writings, may have been what we now call Siamese Twins. curiously the original Hilton sisters bore the alleged Church names of Felcity and Perpetua. pun on words, with slight changes, the motto Felicity In Perpetua- suggests- Perpetual happiness- not a bad slogan for a carnival or amusement park! I have seen churchy statues ( in religious articles stores) or developed female ( adult) Siamese twins in a split gown, one side pink the other side light blue- and very, very attractive. probably Felcity and Perpetua, who are aporcryphal.

In Genesis, there are two sets of twins mentioned: Jacob and Esau, Perez and Zerah

Genesis 25:24-26 (NIV) 24 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau. 26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau's heel; so he was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.

Genesis 38:27-30 (NIV) 27 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 28 As she was giving birth, one of them put out his hand; so the midwife took a scarlet thread and tied it on his wrist and said, "This one came out first." 29 But when he drew back his hand, his brother came out, and she said, "So this is how you have broken out!" And he was named Perez. 30 Then his brother, who had the scarlet thread on his wrist, came out. And he was named Zerah.

A:The most well known twins in The Bible would be Jacob and Esau. There was constant rivalry between these twins, who fought even in the womb.

The apostle Thomas, the one called 'Didymus' must have been a twin: Thomas was not a proper name, but meant 'twin' in Aramaic, as does 'Didymus' in Greek. We do not know who his other twin was, but some ancient Gnostic Christians believed that Thomas was the twin of Jesus.

Genesis 25:24-25New King James Version (NKJV)

24 So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb. 25 And the first came out red. He was like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name Esau.

Esau and Jacob are the first set of twins mentioned here:

Genesis 25:24-25New King James Version (NKJV)

24 So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb. 25 And the first came out red. He was like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name Esau.
