I think you're talking about the massof the particle.

sqrt( 1 - v2/c2 ) = 0.5

1 - v2/c2 = 0.25

v2/c2 = 0.75

v = c sqrt(0.75) = 0.866 c

At what speed does a beta ray travel?

There's no such thing. Or, rather, it depends on the circumstances. It has to be less than the speed of light in a vacuum, but other than that restriction, it can be almost any value (including faster than the speed of light in the medium it's traveling in, in which case it emits Cerenkov radiation).

When the wind speed is x meters per second the wind turbine generates twice as much power as it does when the wind speed is 10 ms Calculate the value of x Give your answer to 3 significant figures?

It is not possible to give any estimate for x given only the information in the question.

Which one of these is a scalar value?

Speed

Is speed still called speed after it reaches the speed of light?

Yes, speed can be any value. The speed of light is extremely fast at 3 x 108 ms-1

What is a sentence for non-newtonian fluids?

A non-Newtonian fluid is a fluid whose flow properties are not described by a single constant value of viscosity. Many polymer solutions and molten polymers are non-Newtonian fluids, as are many commonly found substances such as ketchup, starch suspensions, paint, blood and shampoo. In a Newtonian fluid, the relation between the shear stress and the strain rate is linear, the constant of proportionality being the coefficient of viscosity. In a non-Newtonian fluid, the relation between the shear stress and the strain rate is nonlinear, and can even be time-dependent. Therefore a constant coefficient of viscosity can not be defined. A ratio between shear stress and rate of strain (or shear-dependent viscosity) can be defined, this concept being more useful for fluids without time-dependent behavior.

What is meant by an ideal plastic fluid how it is diff from plastic fluid?

there are newtonian fluids and non newtonian fluids both of these belongs to real fluid which posses viscosity .newtonian fluids r those fluids which obey the newtons law of viscosity while the later doesnt.there r various types of non newtonian fluids like simple non newtonian fluid ,real plastic fluid and ideal plastic fluid an ideal plastic fluid has shear stress which is more than the yield value but after that it obeys the newtonian law of viscosity.

How do you solve for the rate of change in algebra?

The rate of change is often with respect to time t. suppose that d denotes the displacement of a particle, at time t, then you can find the speed with this formula:d=rt, then to solve for r we divide both sides by t and have d/t=rIn mathematics, it is useful to distinguish between velocity and speed. First, when considering motion of a particle in a straight line, specify a positive direction so that it is a directed line. Then the velocity of the particle is positive if it is moving in a positive direction and negative if it is moving in a negative direction. The speed of the particle is the absolute value of its velocity. In more advanced work, when the velocity is a vector v, the speed is the magnitude |v| of the velocity.

What is the value of a Wisconsin quarter with leaf pointing downward?

Twice its original value

Do the slope of the line on a speed-time graph tells the speed?

No. The vertical value of each point (the y-value) tells the speed.

Why is the value of velocity equal to speed?

This is because speed is defined as the absolute value of velocity - irrespective of the direction of motion.

What is Ka value?

Ka is a polite particle for females, it is added to the end of most Thai sentences. Only females use the Ka particle. The male polite particle is Krup, this serve the same function as Ka but is only spoken by males.

What is the difference between average speed and top speed?

Average speed is a value of all the speeds you have travelled at over a certain length of time. Top speed is the absolute highest or fastest speed that you have ever reached. (A one time speed value).
