Actually, it is neither. As with every technology (such as radio, the internet, movies, etc) cable TV has both advantages and disadvantages. One advantage to cable is that it can do what is called "niche" broadcasting. That means it can specialize in one thing only-- like all news (CNN) or all weather (the Weather Channel) or conservative political programs (Fox News) or all programs about animals (Animal Planet). In that regard, cable TV allows viewers to choose something they personally like and watch lots of programs related to that subject.
But while cable was supposed to provide variety, the truth is that the majority of the channels are owned by a handful of giant conglomerates, and the variety is actually somewhat limited by what the conglomerates decide they want to provide, and what they can persuade sponsors to support. Also, since only a small number of cable companies dominate, the cost of cable is kept artificially high and there is little competition. So, in terms of providing lots of programs that appeal to a particular audience, cable TV has been a boon (something positive). But in terms of providing affordable access and a wide range of views, cable TV has not lived up to its promise, although I would hesitate to call it a bane (something that is a curse). Rather, it is one more technology, one more option that people can use, or not use, as they wish.
c have two point of view about cable Tv. Most of people like to watch cable Tv.Some people who are working to business and other watch cable Tv to explore general knowledge . Some youth and other watch as a creature comforts. Anyway, I think, watching cable Tv has impact. So cable Tv is good.
I've seen good and bad, depending on your cable company and how good their system is maintained. It's a crap-shoot and you really won't know until you give it a try.
What satellite provider or cable TV companies offer service if a person has bad credit?
Yes! a coaxial cable can go bad. Yes! you can suddenly lose the signal from an atenna because of a bad cable. A a new coaxial cable may fix the problem as long as the damaged cable is the source of the problem. However if the signal problem is at the tap or one of the splitters in your home you will need to call your cable company to fix the problem.
You have not given enough information to determine a good answer. I assume your cable is s short one? Less than 6ft? Is your cable new, and in good condition? Are you plugging it directly in or going through a receiver? Its either your cable or your connection on one of your devices is bad.
Cable TV service, especially digital cable TV, is as good as satellite TV. The only difference is, cable TV is still there when a storm occurs and won't have to keep searching for a connection like satellite TV is known to do.
no
RCN is the cable service in that area. They have good rates on basic cable service. Dish and Direct TV are also good options as well.
You can get Dish Network and cable internet. Be sure to tell your Dish TV installer that you plan on getting cable internet. Also, tell your Cable TV installer you have dish satellite. As far as Cable internet being good for gaming, it depends on the internet speed you get.
This can sometimes be caused by a bad cable or connector.
Good luck on your move from NJ to NM. Cable television providers are limited in the state of New Mexico. The most popular cable television provider in New Mexico is called Cable One.
DIRECTV is a satellite company and cable TV is not. DIRECTV has more channels and clear reception. Also, DIRECTV is a good company and satellite is much better than cable TV.
The leading cable television providers are currently Dish Network and Comcast. Comcast is usually the cheaper one that also offers pretty good deals for cable packages.
