Yes, Dual Core processor will support from 915 Mainboard
its the main processor normally at this time dual core or quad core. - It depends on the age of the product as to the mother board capabilities
no but it can support core 2 quad
No
The Intel corporation says yes, it supports core 2 Duo processor.
You can technically go all the way up to the Phenom II 1090T Hexi-Core Processor with this motherboard, but the processor won't be able to be utilized on the older AM2+ socket. I'd suggest the Rana 3 core Athlons or perhaps a Phenom II X4
Intel DG45ID - It has DVI and HDMI ports with 7.1 Audio
yes it will
No. The Intel 865 chipset doesn't support dual-core processors.
Yes, however it depends on your operating system and if its a 64 or 32 bit processor
No it does not.
•Multi-core processor•Dual-core processor•Quad-core processor
This depends entirely on the board itself. look up the board model, and find out if it can take the X2 at all. After that , you should be able to simply remove old core and insert new core. Be careful with the metal heatsink and fan if it uses clip. If you crack a stupid clip you screwed the whole motherboard. (I once did that and was greatly annoyed!)
