No, only the original skyscraper There is a difference between the terms "a Skyscraper" and "a Skyscraper card". The first means a card simply called 'Skyscraper', while the second is 'a card with Skyscraper in the name'. So while Skyscraper 2 - Hero City is a 'Skyscraper card', Captain Gold only refers to a card named just "Skyscraper".

For example, many cards refer to 'Dark Magician' and these only refer to the Lv7 Normal monster, not things like Dark Magician Girl or Skilled Dark Magician. Then there are cards that refer to 'Hero monsters', any monster with HERO in the name will do.
Captain Gold only cares about a card called 'Skyscraper', so Skyscraper 2 - Hero City will not keep him on the field.
