A report suggests that men who were at the risk of NAION suffered vision loss within 36 hours of taking Viagra. On May 27, Pfizer announced its willingness to work closely with FDA and revise labeling of the drug. Pfizer agreed to include the report-facts in Viagra label to inform patients and physicians. Pfizer urged FDA to give similar instructions to other pharmaceuticals manufacturing Erectile Dysfunction medicines. Pfizer does not believe that the risk of NAION is any greater in Viagra users than in men not taking the drug. The most common side effects of Viagra are headache, facial flushing and upset stomach. Blurred vision or sensitivity to light are rare side effects found in Viagra users and our wonder drug does not initiate any form of vision loss, states Pfizer.
