A paper route, babysitting, flyer delivery. If you have completed Grade9 it is possible to get job at some fast-food places. Most fast food resturants. Like Tim Hortons, McDon…alds, Burger King, etc. I don't think you can work at grocery stores, or Shoppers Drug Mart. You have to be 16 for that.
That depends on the Ontario Employment Standards Act, but generally, no.
Answer Hi, I wrote this question and if anyone would like to contact me about it, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org thankyou.
Answer Yes, for most jobs. For some things, like working in factories or construction sites, you have to be a bit older.
Mc donalds (some fast food places), grocery stores...you typically need to be 16 to have a 'real' part-time summer job. But, you can work as a Counsellor in Training (CIT) a…t summer day camps with Markham Recreation. This will help you get jobs as a counsellor when you're 16. Good luck!
My daughter went to her elementary school and volunteered as a teachers aid for the kindergarden class for 2 weeks. You can also read to young readers in similar schools…. (You can NOT volunteer in a school if you have been charged with a criminal offence) If that does not interest you, then you may try parks and rec when the do their spring litter clean up. That is a wonderful way to help clean up our city and get your volunteer hours.
A 14 year old girl in Mississauga can work as a baby sitter. She may also be able to work as a dog walker.
When you are fourteen you are supposed to be able to have a legal job depending on what the type of job it is. Of course you can't become things like a construction worker but… you should be able to work at a body shop......dont take this as a fact....it's my opinion (:
I am 14 and honestly called all over Cambridge. I am only 3 months away from being 15 but the rules by the Ministry of Labour require to be 15 years old in order to work a…t places that involve kitchens, knifes, etc. (Tim Hortons, Mcdonalds, Swiss Chalet) Those kind of things. I suggest putting out an ad on kijiji for dog walking, or babysitting because you will probably have to wait until you are 15. Its very upsetting I know but we just have to wait until we are 15 :(. If you do find something that will hire you at fourteen, let me know on here! Good Luck
When you're 14 very few businesses will hire you so you would generally be better off doing jobs like mowing lawns, washing cars and shoveling snow. I suggest you wait unti…l you are the age of 16 or 18 that way more opportunities will be open to you.
14 year olds who live in Ontario, Canada may be able to work in restaurants as bussers. They may be able to get jobs in summer camps or at theme parks.
If you're 14 or 15, during the school year, hours are limited to 3 hours a day and 18 hours a week. On days when there's no school and in the summer, working hours increase to… 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week.
Yes they can just not in the meat or receiving areas
newspaper route gives you money! babysitting, dog-walking those are starters till you are 15/16!
Yes, but unless you want to work as a cashier you'd have to be at least 16+.
