yes you can get a debit card when you are 13 but you have to get it linked from your parents/guardians. but you can not get a credit card because the banks think that 13 year old are responsible enough, which i can agree with for the credit card but that you can not get a single debit account that is not linked to your parent/guardians account, i think is diabolical.Also you can go to stores (wal-mart,speed way) and buy reloadable gift cards.

∙ 18y agoMaybe. Many banks will allow a minor to open a checking account without requiring a parent or guardian to be listed as a joint holder or conservator. However, not all banks will issue a minor a debit card to be used in conjunction with the account. The first step a minor might choose to take would be contacting the checking account manager (or customer service) of the bank where one's parents hold accounts, for information about state banking regulations.

∙ 10y agoactually yes a 10 year old can have a debit card at bank of America they can allow any age 10 and up to have a debit card as long as the parent/guardian approves, you can get a prepaid debit card which is a debit card that has a certain amount of money and can be re loaded , its like re loadable gift card so if your parent/guardian allows you then yes a 10 year old can have a debit card
but they are also looking for a person with a job
